Witnesses: Soldiers assault four workers

Bethlehem – Ma’an – Israeli soldiers assaulted four Palestinian workers on Tuesday night in the West Bank village of Al-Walajah, near Bethlehem, witnesses told Ma’an.
Residents of the village described how the soldiers broke the legs of three men, and arrested a fourth, taking him to an unknown detention center. Three of the men were dragged to a field in Al-Walajah, the witnesses added.
The reason for the reported assault was unclear.
Residents of Al-Walajah said three of the men were taken to the hospital in the neighboring town of Beit Jala.
One of the men was identified as Anees Kabha, a resident of the northern West Bank.
A military spokesman said he was not aware of any reported incident, and that the area was under the jurisdiction of the border police.

Excuse me if I don´t complain when these same tactics are used on Israel´s
Note that the military spokesman said the area was under the jurisdiction of the border police. The border police are from the Druze sect. They speak Arabic because they are in fact Arabs. They have a religion that no one outside their group understands. No one joins their group and few leave. They have worked with the Israelis since before independence in 1948. They have absolutely no incentive to work for peace because the conflict is their job security. Many of the atrocities committed by Israeli forces are committed by Druze border police units. Of course, a dog’s owner is responsible for who he bites, especially when he bites people every day.
The Israeli who shot the little schoolgirl multiple times including at close range was a Druze. During the trial he said that was the only reason his case had gone to court was because he was Druze and not Askenazi as otherwise he would have been protected.
He got off anyway.
