Senate unanimously opposes Palestinian push for statehood (AIPAC wants you to know)
By Philip Weiss on June 30, 2011
Yesterday by a unanimous vote the Senate said that the Palestinians should not seek a state in the United Nations. This as the world moves to recognize just such a move.
The following note was sent out by AIPAC yesterday.
Following up on today’s news about the passage of the Cardin-Collins resolution, I wanted to pass along this statement from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid…Kind regards, Ari [Goldberg, director of media relations]
REID: PASSAGE OF CARDIN-COLLINS RESOLUTION REAFFIRMS U.S. DEDICATION TO ISRAEL
Washington, D.C.– Nevada Senator Harry Reid issued the following statement today following passage of the Cardin-Collins resolution:
“I am pleased that the Senate unanimously passed Senators Cardin and Collins’ resolution, supported by 88 bipartisan cosponsors, which says a negotiated settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict should come through direct Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. If peace talks are to be fruitful, the Palestinians cannot bring to the negotiating table a terrorist organization that rejects Israel’s right to exist. A fair beginning to good-faith talks also means the Palestinians cannot simply stop by the negotiating table on their way to the United Nations to seek recognition as a state.
“The United States of America will not give money to terrorists bent on the destruction of the State of Israel. America’s willingness to continue our current aid program will depend on the Palestinian government’s insistence that Hamas recognize Israel’s right to exist, that it renounce violence and that it honor the commitments made by prior Palestinian Authority governments.”

Syria: TIME Magazine’s Desperate Lies
TIME claims to “sneak” into Syria, still bases entire report on “witness” accounts.
Tony Cartalucci | Activist Post | August 11, 2011
Claiming to be written in Hama, Syria, TIME’s latest article “Exclusive: A Visit to Hama, the Rebel Syrian City that Refused to Die” attempts to reestablish the US State Department’s sagging narrative regarding unrest they themselves funded, organized and are now openly promoting, this time, (allegedly) directly on the ground at the epicenter of the unrest. TIME’s report runs immediately into convenient obstacles preventing them from accessing anything remotely resembling evidence and, instead, defers once again to eyewitness accounts by admitted members of the opposition.
TIME first describes two of Hama’s hospitals guarded by the Syrian army which our intrepid reporter is unable to approach. Acknowledging the impossibility of verifying opposition claims, TIME decides to air them anyway stating, “by some accounts, security forces were killing wounded protesters in the hospitals,” echoing the now verified lies used to initiate war with Libya. TIME continues making a mockery out of journalism by citing “residents” who “speak of being unable to reach bodies in the streets, of snipers targeting people in their homes, of house-to-house searches, mass indiscriminate detentions, looting and even rape.” Of course, despite TIME being on the ground in Hama, they are unable to provide a single shred of evidence to confirm any of these claims.
TIME continues with a tale of an anonymous man who brings them a bag of spent anti-aircraft shells which TIME solemnly reminds readers are “not supposed to be used on civilians,” despite providing no proof that they were. TIME describes residents as supposedly not angry with Syrian troops despite just claiming they pillaged and raped their city, but are instead resolved to only bring down Syria’s president, Bashar al-Assad.
In fact everything in TIME’s “hard hitting” “on the ground” report is based only on witness accounts; the same dubious unverified reports that preceded the current ongoing NATO war crimes in Libya, and the same unverified reports that have been filtering out of London-based Syrian “human rights groups” for months now. The only “evidence” TIME seems to have provided in their daring “clandestine” reporting is graffiti allegedly left on Hama’s streets which TIME claims is “deeply offensive” to Hama’s “religiously conservative majority.” … continue

What I see is a US Senate that does not recognize the Right of Statehood in Palestine for the Palestinian people!
And therefore, I see no reason for the US Senate to recognize the need or value of the United States Senate whatsoever!
In fact, the senate itself should be abolished!
The US Senate is an awful anachronism that is not only unrepresentative, it is disproportional of population due to being based on state borders and not apportioned as is the US House of Representatives.
Clearly, the US Senate is an undemocratic institution, as well as a redundancy of having two politicians “representing” the same population.
Senator Reid is a war criminal by merely by the crime of omission, but commission as well, a fact that is irrefutable made manifestly indelibly clear by recorded votes and video of statements on the senate floor.
The senate has no integrity or scruples to be found, but treacherously doing the bidding a criminal fascist-imperialist state misbegotten in Palestine, is not statesmanship, it is High Treason.
If you have researched the USS Liberty attack by Israel in 1967, the assassination of President Kennedy, and/or 9/11; you will know who and what the Zionist are! Israel is the one country the US should blockade, disarm, and scatter to the winds! This time, the US Senate has gone to far, as has Obama, albeit in arrogance and ignorance!

The US Senate has no integrity or scruples to be found, and this vote is another glaring example of it treacherously doing the bidding of a fascist-imperialist Israel, a misbegotten state in Palestine. That is not statesmanship, it is High Treason!

This time, the US Senate has gone to far, as has Obama, albeit in arrogance and ignorance as a hand-puppet worked by Zbigkniew Brzezinski, David Rockefeller’s imperial minister and Obama’s demented mentor.
