Knesset candidate calls for bombing Aqsa Mosque’s Dome of the Rock
Palestine Information Center – 20/01/2013
NAZARETH — A Knesset candidate from the Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish house) party called for blowing up the Aqsa Mosque’s Dome of the Rock and building the alleged Jewish temple in its place.
According to Hatnua, a rival party, Habayit Hayehudi’s candidate Jeremy Gimpel, publically discussed the destruction of the Dome of the Rock and its replacement with a Jewish temple, during a recent lecture he gave in Florida.
A video of the lecture was broadcast on the Israeli channel 2 on Friday. Gimpel is heard asking those attending the lecture to imagine a scenario in which the Dome of the Rock “was bombed” to make room for the alleged Jewish temple.
Hatnua party filed a petition with the central election committee to disqualify candidate Gimpel because his remarks on the Dome of the Rock could trigger widespread violence in the region.
In another incident, the Israeli newspaper Jerusalem said the Israeli municipal council issued last week demolition orders against two Palestinian Mosques in Tur town and Bab Al-Amoud neighborhood east of Jerusalem.
It added that that the orders were issued after Aryeh King, director of the Israel land fund and a noted right-wing figure, filed a complaint about the two Mosques.
The newspaper quoted Meir Margalit, head of the Israeli committee against house demolitions, as saying that this move is an attempt by the municipal council to ignite the middle east and please the Zionist right-wing forces and their supporters.

Seeking New Clues to Cancer Risks From Atom Bomb Tests
By JOE MANGANO | December 22, 2010
The atom bomb tests over the Nevada desert are etched in the American consciousness, even though they ended nearly half a century ago. The clouds that looked like gigantic mushrooms rising into the stratosphere remind us of the Cold War-era American-Soviet race to test and manufacture as many nuclear weapons as possible to fight what many felt would be an inevitable nuclear war.
Those days are gone. The Cold War is over. Stockpiles of nuclear weapons are shrinking. All-out nuclear war, while still possible, is no longer regarded as inevitable. And testing has ended – in the atmosphere and below the ground. Thus, it is tempting to think of bomb tests as a relic of history, with no current relevance.
But the tests ARE relevant. The Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty of 1996, ratified by 153 countries, has still not been endorsed by the U.S. Senate, or other atomic nations. Thus, testing could legally resume at any time. Moreover, research on health hazards of test fallout is far from complete.
Some want to close the book on bomb test studies, citing the age of the tests and the difficulty of understanding health risk. But measuring risk is possible, thanks to – of all things – baby teeth. … continue

There’s a “little” problem with the headline for this article… The candidate doesn’t call for a bombing of “Dome of the Rock”… He’s talking about a hypothetical future… All religious Jews believe that when the Messiah will come the 3rd temple will be built (instead of the current edifice)…
It’s not unlike the Muslims believing that in the end of days all people will be Muslims… The point here isn’t what one star struck person believes his sky pixie will do in the future… The point here is to bash Israel (as if this person represents all Jewish Israelis) based on a fraudulent claim…
Around here that’s par for the course…
Of course, readers have only to play the videos above to learn that “scubaman” is a liar.
Don’t let him get to you, aletho, he’s just a troll, you know, not very good at his job, either, and probably keenly aware of it, poor fellow.
Sorry to burst your bubble but nobody pays me to post here… And what I post are my own opinions and observations… Of course, both you and aletho are free to quote the exact words used in the video (with a notation of the exact time in the clip) that prove your allegations…
Except for the fact that the videos clearly show that the candidate isn’t calling for the bombing of “Dome of the Rock”… But rather that he’s talking about a hypothetical future…
For example, they’re talking about the Jewish Temple being there in an hour, a day or a month from now… Do you really think that’s humanly feasible?!… Obviously it isn’t and therefore they’re clearly referencing some future divine event…
You might as well claim that those Christians that are hoping that the “rupture” will come soon are really calling for millions of people to be killed in the wars that they predict will happen after the rapture…
What some star struck guy (or gal) believes their sky pixie of choice will do in the future is neither here nor there… It’s a view… Nothing more and nothing else… Now, unless you believe in the same sky pixie you’re obviously not agreeing with their view of what the future holds…
