In the process we lost sight of one of the cardinal maxims of guerrilla war; The guerrilla wins if he does not lose. The conventional army loses if he does not win. The North Vietnamese used their armed forces the way the Bullfighter uses his cape, to keep us lunging in area’s of marginal political importance”

    Henry Kissinger(the ‘Architect’ of the Vietnam War), but called “The American War” by the Vietnamese, who drove the Americans out of their country, just like they had driven France out of their country.
