If Russia was doing the same “Influence peddling”, It would be all over the MSM and it would be called ‘Spying’.. There is also a program instigated by Israel, to invite newly elected politicians in the West, for a free all expenses paid trip to Israel, to see what a “Democratic paradise” it is. These politicians generally don’t get taken to Gaza because(they are told) it is too dangerous and ‘Israel cannot guarantee their safety”(which is another great way to “demonize” the Palestinians). Politicians from Britain Australia and New Zealand, and I’m sure many other countries undergo this “Study Trip”.
The power and influence that Israel has in Britain, and particularly the USA has so totally skewed their politicians towards Israel, that Israel’s needs seem to have surpassed the needs of the host country. The USA, it appears, has ceded power completely to Israel, and have done so with the TOTAL support of the Mainstream Media.
